Prelude: Ramadan 1424 Update

8 November 2003--  For the last several months, analysts from the Northeast Intelligence Network  have provided a number of direct message intercepts and a variety of information and intelligence pertaining to potential terrorism activities planned inside the US and against overseas targets to the applicable US agencies. Concurrent with those notifications, we provided the same information that is one of many components that comprise the Terror Alert Update system above (operated by Mr. Serve Quayle, www.stevequayle.com ). In order to spread the message of the terrorist operations being planned against targets inside and outside of the United States and likely to be executed within the period of Ramadan 1424, astute media personalities provided a forum to us and a service to their listeners during the last few months. As recent news stories clearly indicate, it is obvious that programs such as Coast to Coast with George Noory, Tom Bauerle of WBEN AM 930, and Mr. Quayle himself as the host of "The "Q Files" have "scooped" the "major media" again and provided their listening audience with today's headlines well in advance. Such examples include but are not limited to:

1. The increased attacks against western targets in Iraq (including the car bombing that killed al Hakim and scores of others).

2. The infiltration of terrorists from Syria and other countries to assist Saddam Loyalists in Iraq, the targeting of various locations and officials in Saudi Arabia, and the targeting of western journalists and others in Muslim countries.

3. Today's headlines of the threats of cargo planes against targets on US soil, the presence of terrorist operatives in the United States,  and other threats against US targets, landmarks, bridges, and so on.

Now today, the "major media" is beginning to awaken to the news stories that were present for some time. They are beginning to realize that Ramadan 1424, the lunar eclipse, the upcoming solar eclipse, the significance of anniversaries and dates, while of little significance to western culture, holds a great of significance in terms of Islamic Fundamentalism and terror operations in the United States and abroad.

     In the event some visitors to our site missed the posting of one submission of information to the federal government, network analysts Jill St. Clair and Jennifer Johnston both provided documented evidence several months ago regarding a new method of communication in use by terrorists operating within our borders: coded messages contained in magazines and leaflets, as well as within certain Internet publications. Following this discovery, Network director Douglas Hagmann announced this method on Coast to Coast, the Tom Bauerle show, and The Pat Campbell Show. In response to the program on Coast to Coast, an astute listener sent to our analysts a leaflet that matched the exact specifications referenced on that program, which was forwarded to the appropriate federal agency. We also went "on record" by the submission and posting of THIS MESSAGE intercepted by both analysts identified above. 

     As this "Prelude" is being typed, we are preparing to issue several advisories and warnings that suggest terrorist events are in the final stages of planning and impending execution. We KNOW that these operations are being planned for execution during Ramadan. We KNOW that a number of terrorists have entered our country using Saudi passports during the window created by the northeast blackout in August 2003. However, we do not profess to know the exact targets of these terrorists, although have analyzed and evaluated the collected data and believe we have made a fair assessment - an assessment that has existed on Mr. Quayle's site since the inception of the terror alert update. In terms of the timing of events, we KNOW that it is the intent of the radical Islamic fundamentalists to execute these operations during Ramadan. However, we also KNOW that these terrorists are very patient and very methodical. To think otherwise is to be woefully naive. They will strike when the window of opportunity is presented unless otherwise prevented by our internal defenses. Unless caught and neutralized, their plans will only be delayed, not stopped. 

     I can almost hear the sounds of some readers now... ah-hah! he's "hedging, in the event that an attack does not occur during Ramadan!" "How convenient that he provides an excuse in advance!" To those readers, please go back to your regular network television programming and accept my apology for allowing you to read this far. To the others, please keep checking our site as information we have developed over the last several months will be posted for your review. The vision is accurate in the fact that a major event will occur in Saudi Arabia, because he was watching Saudi television, and he was not watching a satellite channel that would indicate an event elsewhere; this major event will be the doom of King Fahd, which will lead to subversion among his brothers, and from them god will cast off a king.

المهم أن الحدث الأكبر أمر يتعلق بزوال حكمهم وسلطانهم بغض النظر عن تفاصيل هذا الحدث .

More importantly, the major event will be a matter of dethroning leaders, and the method (details) of the event is unimportant.

The meaning of this vision is that jihad will be erupt during Ramadan, we will witness a jihad movement that is more powerful and wider reaching, and the events will have a fantastic impact on overthrowing leaders, god willing.

Ramadan 2003: Current Threat Analysis

Introduction for New Visitors

     As a group of professionals who volunteer our time in gathering information and intelligence to prevent another 9/11 from taking place, our purpose is two-fold. First, we provide information to US intelligence agencies and the proper authorities regarding possible threats to the US, its citizens and our assets. Secondly, we act as a "conduit" by relaying the information we find directly to the readers of this site, so readers can form independent conclusions about the current threats we face based on thoroughly vetted and properly sourced information obtained through our collective efforts. We do not pretend to know more than  what we do, nor are we in the business of making "predictions." We do, however, use the data that we secure from a variety of sources to create a "snapshot" of possibilities and probabilities, and provide them on this site.

     On a recent radio interview, I provided the following example of what the information and intelligence gathering process is like.  Take a telephone book of any large city (this would represent actual "valid" intelligence), rip off the cover, remove about one-third of the pages and then put the book through a cross-cut shredder. Then, put about 50 pages of any novel into the same shredder and mix it up with the telephone book confetti (this would represent "disinformation"). After that, take the shredded confetti and place it on a table and ask someone to assemble the "puzzle" into it's original form, less the pages of the novel. A daunting task to say the least, but a fair assessment of the task at hand.

     The volunteers of the Northeast Intelligence Network are working around the clock and in many areas of the world to provide the visitors of our site with the most up-to-date data and information regarding the threats that exist against us. We are attempting to assemble the pieces of the puzzle together so that we will prevail in the battle against terrorism. With your help, we intend to exist and operate until we are no longer needed.

The General Nature of the Threat

     Although we have a certain amount of faith in our government to protect us from outside threats, we recognize that there were mistakes made within the intelligence community that led up to the events of September 11th, 2001. Those mistakes were the result of a decade of decimation of our intelligence agencies, our military, and changes in our foreign policy. They were also a result of many more years of bureaucratic bungling that left us exposed and ripe for attack. Many fine intelligence officers foresaw the dangers and tried their best to warn top officials and the public to the dangers that loomed on the horizon. In many cases, their accurate warnings went unheeded and resulted in the catastrophic events that occurred on 9/11 - and are the reason for the current threats we now face. 

     It must be thoroughly understood that we are deeply entrenched in a war unlike any other. It is an "asymmetrical war" where the enemy is already among us, inside of our own borders, and even working in key positions in the public and private sectors. They will use their positions and access to critical information as tools and opportunities to strike us repeatedly unless or until they are stopped.  Through years of political correctness gone astray, our enemy has managed to create a "fifth column" to facilitate further attacks against us. Our enemy possesses no rules for warfare, and will use anything and everything as weapons against us, from "bullets to bytes." Weapons of mass destruction, whenever and however available, will be used without hesitation.

     We are the targets of a vile, vicious and cunning enemy who are guided by hard-core beliefs in their cause and will not stop in their efforts until they achieve their goals or are themselves killed or captured. They are patient and possess their own schedule and agenda for further and more significant attacks. We did not declare this war or fire the opening shots - they did. We must respond accordingly or face the demise of our country, our way of life, and our own extinction. We must also help our true allies in this world war, and recognize the countries who pose as our friends but are actually sponsoring the agents of terrorism in all areas of the world. There are no other acceptable alternatives. The stark reality is quite simple: the goals of the terrorists are to kill you, your family, friends and co-workers to achieve their objective - submit to their interpretation of Islam or be killed.  It is important for readers to understand that these terrorists do not operate with the same mindset as we do in what is known as "western culture." They are completely committed to destroy us in any and all manners possible. All people in the United States and western societies are targets regardless of age, sex, or race. They will also kill Muslims who do not share the same fundamentalist beliefs or just happen to get in their way. The terrorists of September 11th, 2001 who perpetrated the attacks in the US and those who are launching the current attacks on our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are radical Islamic Muslims following the path of Jihad. They are also the same terrorists we face today. As such, Ramadan holds special significance to them; Ramadan 1424 (2003) offers even more significance due to current world events, our "occupation" of  "Muslim" counties (Afghanistan and Iraq), and an unusual solar and lunar eclipse that will take place during this Ramadan season. The confluence of these factors heightens the threat level of this Ramadan season. 

The Threat During Ramadan 2003

     With the onset the Muslim holy season of Ramadan 1424 (2003), we are becoming increasingly concerned and somewhat alarmed at the raw data and intelligence findings we are obtaining from obscure and often hidden Islamic Jihad web sites and communications intercepted in chat rooms used by fundamentalists. Analysts at the Northeast Intelligence Network have noticed a continuing rise in the "pitch and intensity" of calls for Jihad, Fatwas, Clarifications and other religious "rulings" that certainly suggest that plans for a series of attacks are currently in progress. These attacks appear to fall into two major categories: threats to US and western interests and coalitions forces overseas; and threats of a significant attack or series of coordinated attacks within the continental United States. Subcategories of both suggest that these planned attacks will include the use of unconventional weapons- possibly nuclear, chemical or biological;  the use of computer technology to disable key areas of our infrastructure, causing power blackouts and economic losses; and the use of conventional bombs and even homicide bombers in the US. 

     The operatives belong to groups including but not limited to such well known terrorist organizations as al Qaeda, HAMAS, Ansar al-Islam, The Salfist Group for Preaching & Combat (GSPC), Black September, as well as a number of other forces that are beginning to work together in their effort to destroy the west. We have been watching as some terrorist organizations have split into factions, and others have teamed together in a perfect display of the adage "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." 

Iraq & Afghanistan: US Troops & Humanitarian Aid Workers

     As evidenced by the bombings on the first day of Ramadan in Baghdad that killed 35-40 people and injured hundreds of others, it is blatantly obvious that the Islamic fundamentalists have no regard for the sanctity of human life, regardless of the day, hour or "season." The bombing of the Red Cross in Baghdad that killed humanitarian aid workers, many of them Muslims, is simply one example of their complete disregard for human life and evil personified. Investigative analysts have picked up significant intelligence data and posted it on this web site warning IN ADVANCE of these attacks. This intelligence was also shared with renowned author and host of the "Q Files" Steve Quayle, who also posted the warnings in advance of the attacks on troops and aid workers at his website. As a network, we have shared this intelligence not only with the readers of our site, but with the appropriate US intelligence agencies. We will continue to do so as the threats continue to loom larger and the radical factions continue to cite apocalyptic style attacks against the US, its allies and all people not conforming to their beliefs. 

28 October 2003: Analysis of Iraq/Afghanistan: As indicated in our previous reports, more attacks against US troops, aid workers, support personnel and assets anticipated. Oil storage and transportation facilities, including pipelines are also targeted. Many terror groups have joined forces. Homicide bombers and bomb materials, some of which are already in place, will be used to inflict "significant" casualties. Internet communications suggest a relentless attack against "collaborators" of coalition forces.  

Threats Within & Against the United States

     Based on a lengthy and exhaustive analysis of data obtained from a number of sources, it is obvious that the United States is a prime target for attack. This is certain, although attempting to isolate a date when these attacks will occur is difficult, if not impossible. Radical Islamic extremists regard this Ramadan season as "apocalyptic" based on the dual eclipses and events that are unfolding in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Middle East. Al Qaeda has reformed and has been reborn as "Fateh Islam," (Victory of Islam); they have recruited many radical Muslims who share fundamental beliefs and as noted above, have allied themselves with other terrorist organizations to advance their objectives.

     With regard to the immediate threat and as referenced above, terrorists have successfully infiltrated into our culture, obtaining key positions within our military, government, universities, financial institutions, prisons, and throughout the public and private sector. Accordingly, they now have the ability to wreak havoc from within our own borders and plan to do so, according to our investigative findings. We have seen numerous references to coordination between these operatives and those on the "outside." We have found definitive references to the sabotage of our national infrastructure and defenses through the use of these operatives at the direction of clerics and fundamentalist leaders. Some of these operatives do not fit the profile of the "original 19" hijackers of Middle Eastern origin - they include men AND women of all ages and background who share common beliefs. Based on our findings, plans for a coordinated attack using these operatives combined with external forces appear to be in the final stages of planning. 

28 October 2003: Analysis of Threats Within the US: Coordinated attacks with specific focus on New York and Washington, DC. Attacks against power grids, computer systems and general infrastructure. Indications of the use of "dirty bomb" in a major metropolitan area. Indications that some of the wildfires in the west are the result of multiple cases of arson- with some possibly attributed to Islamic terrorists with the intent to cause significant economic losses and "exhaust" our defenses.

Intercepted Internet Communications about Ramadan

18 October 2003--Network analyst Jennifer Johnston found interesting messages on an Islamic Jihadist forum indicating that a "very dangerous time is on the horizon,",  possibly referring to Ramadan 2003 period. The posters, who have been "followed" in their postings, are saying they are coming up against a dangerous time and to pray. Special note should be made of highlighted text:

And Allah is an assistant in this dangerous situation/event
