With the country’s attention fixated on former President Donald Trump’s arrest in Georgia (and, of course, the most iconic mug shot in recent memory), there are several developments in that case that have gone unreported by the mainstream news outlets.

Despite a media blackout on the matter, Congress has just launched an investigation into District Attorney of Fulton County Fani Willis. This investigation is being led by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) in his official capacity as the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. He’s launched an investigation into whether Ms. Fani Willis’s prosecution is politically motivated, and whether or not she’s coordinating her state prosecution of President Trump with the federal government.
