I’m done. I’ve had a bellyful of this insanity. IT’S GOING TO GET BLOODY. That’s an observation, not a threat. I’m done with bleeding heart liberal, Communist, progressive cucks who cannot or refuse to see what’s happening right in front of them. If you are in support of the cognitively impaired criminal in the White House and his cabal of criminals, including and especially that Cuban national, Communist-advocate cueball Alejandro “Ali” Mayorkas, YOU are a BIG part of the problem.
I have NO desire to be your friend. I have NO desire to coexist with you. It is because of you and those like you who have sentenced my children and their children to a life of servitude, perversity, poverty, and slavery. You are my enemy. You are a traitor to our nation. I don’t give a tinker’s damn if you have a “D” or “R” after your name; you’ve pushed true, patriotic Americans to their limits for your personal gain. Worse, we let you. But I suspect that’s all about to change. “Beware the wrath of a patient man.”
Elections have consequences. To paraphrase Steve Bannon, stolen elections have catastrophic consequences. If you think the 2020 election was fair and Biden really did win, you’re an imbecile. If you believe that there was no fraud in the 2022 election, you’re a moron. If you think the upcoming 2024 election will be fair, you’re a lost cause.
If your steady diet of information consists of cable TV news and the corporate print media, you are not merely uninformed but willingly misinformed. If you choose not to research current and historical events using reliable alternative sources, you deserve your upcoming servitude. If you choose to comply with yet another round of unconstitutional and nonsensical mandates such as mask-wearing, social distancing, and stay-at-home orders, then you are a brainwashed cuckhold. Resistance and non-compliance is the only answer. We must no longer tolerate the intolerable.
Consider the invasion of America. It’s the modern-day equivalent of the 1984 movie Red Dawn, without the parachutes, but at the invitation of an illegitimate, unelected regime facilitated by Communist organizations operating as charitable NGOs. EVERY such person and entity involved in the intake process of the criminal border crossers MUST be identified and prosecuted. EVERY federal official, state governor, state official, county official – everyone down to the drivers of the busses must be held to account by “WE, THE PEOPLE.”
I’m with Owen, who spent 47 days in federal prison as a political prisoner of Joseph Robinette Biden and the cuckold RINOs who are destroying our nation. We all owe Owen a debt of gratitude for having the balls to stand up and speak out. We ALL need to do this so we can avert bloodshed. WATCH:

During the court trial last Thursday of Dominic Pezzola, one of the defendants of the January 6, 2021, Capitol breach, it was learned that exculpatory evidence was withheld by the government – raw video footage that Tucker Carlson aired on Monday. Much worse, however, was the discovery that communications between FBI agents casually discussing altering a document and destroying hundreds of pieces of potentially exculpatory evidence.
The findings were revealed during the testimony of FBI special agent Nicole Miller, who was involved in the agency’s investigations of the January 6th defendants.
During the cross-examination of Miller, Nick Smith, an attorney representing Proud Boys member (and Pezzola’s co-defendant) Ethan Nordean, revealed classified FBI emails that were hidden in a tab in an Excel spreadsheet. Based on the inexcusable actions of the FBI, a motion to dismiss was filed by the Pezzola’s attorney. Also contained in the motion is the allegation that the FBI was monitoring communications between Nordean and his lawyer, a clear violation of the Sixth Amendment.
Read the motion for full details, filed on March 9, 2023:
Additional allegations of government/FBI misconduct is contained in the filing by co-defendant Ethan Nordeen as detailed here:
The weaponization of the FBI and the DoJ to “set up” patriots involved in a peaceful demonstration on January 6, 2021 is rapidly being proven.

Countries under Communist control crush corporations and silence their CEOs for criticizing their governments. Currently, in the US, we are witnessing the inverse of that approach.
In Communist countries, a state-run media exists. In the US, a media-run state exists. It’s a distinction without a difference, as both models result in a nearly identical crackdown of our freedoms.
CEOs of corporations, specifically those of “big tech” companies, are controlling the levers of power by silencing “America First” patriots inside and outside of government. Never has it been so apparent as the “Digital Night of the Long Knives,” when these oligarchs conspired to silence the President of the United States and countless other conservative voices in a wholesale, historical, and dangerous “purge” of dissenting ideologies.
What we saw in this purge was not an organic response or reaction to the events that happened at the Capitol last Wednesday. It was a power-play made by permanent or “deep state” oligarchs who have been waiting for just such a manageable and exploitable event.
Social media and the various internet platforms “came of age” when Barack Hussein Obama occupied the White House. During that period, the deliberate and most effective integration of power between big business, the corporate media, social media platforms, and government at the highest level of the permanent or “deep state” took place. Members of the Obama regime, including and especially from the State Department and National Security Council, combined with big tech to form what many people today refer to as the “shadow government.”
It was also during this period that big tech companies and media giants integrated with the authoritarian national security apparatus. This deliberate construct enabled selected key individuals at the highest levels of big government to shape public opinion by controlling news content. It was also during this time that “fake news” and oligarch appointed and approved “fact-checkers” came of age. Globalist oligarchs refined their control of whatever narrative was necessary at the time to turn public sentiment against a patriotic and unapologetic ideology of “America First.”
Asserting that platforms such as Twitter and Facebook are private companies and therefore not subject to First Amendment applications seems like a legitimate constitutional argument, at least on its face. However, the vertical integration with the permanent state has resulted in the virtual town square’s near-complete occupation, where only approved speech is permitted. This vertical integration of power is the precise reason that President Trump has been consistently antagonistic and vocal towards the media since he first announced his candidacy. We must also realize that there is no longer any meaningful distinction between the corporate globalist oligarchs of the social media platforms, corporate media, and the authoritarian state.
This integration of power is responsible for perpetuating hoaxes such as Russiagate, the unwarranted and costly Mueller investigation, the chorus of media calling for President Trump’s impeachment, and the complete blackout of overt voter and election fraud.
What this big tech-authoritarian partnership has planned next, however, is far more alarming and dangerous than most people can imagine, yet many are cheering for it without reservation.
Allowed to continue unabated, the full force of the American security apparatus will be used against anyone who ever voiced their support for Donald Trump and his “Make America Great – Keep America Great” agenda. The national security apparatus will target those who continue to embrace a populist agenda.
This corrupt globalist regime, a combination of the permanent state and big tech oligarchs, will not be satisfied to simply silence those who oppose a globalist agenda and support American exceptionalism. They intend to employ a scorched earth policy against 75 million-plus patriots, labeling us as domestic terrorists.
That is a point from which we can never return.

If you are reading this, there’s a good chance that you, or someone in your family, is (or will be) a person of interest to federal, state, or local law enforcement. If you care about what is being taught to your children or grandchildren and voice concern over objectionable material, you are the newest domestic terror threat.
On October 4, 2021, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland directed the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices to meet in the next 30 days with state and local law enforcement agencies to discuss the latest domestic terrorist threat: parents who oppose or even question certain subject matter being taught to their children. Voicing opposition to the instruction of critical race theory (CRT), gender studies, or any other controversial subject matter can result in you being turned over to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) for threat assessment. According to a source within the U.S. Department of Justice contacted by this investigator exclusively for Wisconsin Christian News, other issues unrelated to curricula, such as voicing opposition to the enforcement of arbitrary mask mandates and related rules, could warrant equal threat assessment.
As people are beginning to wake up to the objectionable material being taught to school children and the imposition of arbitrary and irrational rules related to the response to the coronavirus, they are showing up and speaking out at local school board meetings. They are posing legitimate questions to school board officials who are not used to being questioned, especially with the passion of a concerned parent. Board members who have chosen indoctrination over education, unlawful mandates over basic freedoms, now feel threatened. On behalf of the school boards and their members, the National School Boards Association (NSBA), an organization representing more than 90,000 school board members in 14,000 public school districts in the U.S., contacted the Biden Department of Justice to intervene against the parents. NSBA Interim Executive Director Chip Slaven compared the public objections at recent meetings to “a form of domestic terrorism.” Accordingly, the Biden Department of Justice eagerly enlisted the full resources of the FBI at the direction of AG Garland and will be working with law local law enforcement agencies to quell any parental displays of discontent.
Americans in general and parents in particular, have had enough. They are awake to the warped political agendas being forced upon our children under the guise of “public” education. They are speaking out against the indoctrination of our children by teachers who take delight in forcing their perverse sexual ideologies, revisionist history and race-baiting madness onto innocent children. They are standing up against destructive and tyrannical school board policies. As more parents join ranks to object to such absurdity, school board members, especially those who espouse radical views, feel intimidated and threatened.
Although the Attorney General failed to cite one example of a parent engaged in any activity that could be considered even remotely threatening, the highly politicized FBI will now assume the role of the “Brownshirts” and label any parent who disagrees with the state’s curriculum a “domestic terrorist.”
In an October 5, 2021 column[i] written by John Nolte for Breitbart, he noted the obvious goal of the Communist Left is “to criminalize not only dissent and peaceful protest but to criminalize [anyone] daring to disagree with the fascist, narcissistic left-wing maniacs who have seized control of government-run schools. This is also about using the federal government to chill free speech, to scare and intimidate parents away from speaking out. And it will almost certainly be used to harass those parents who do speak up.”
Equally, if not more importantly, Nolte added that “the other tactic here is that Biden is hoping to inflame the situation. Using the FBI in this unlawful and un-American manner is meant to anger and provoke people into misbehaving, which is what the fascist Biden regime wants.”
Considering that the FBI has absolutely no authority to investigate or prosecute anyone actual or perceived threat at a local level, why else would the Biden DoJ involve itself in local matters?
This is a dangerous abuse of power that will not end well.
Prepare. Pray.

Beyond the horrifying, dark, and demonic depravity contained in the Hunter Biden hard drive, it also includes a trove of documents that suggest just how deep the Biden family is involved in personal enrichment at the expense of our nation. This was particularly relevant during Joe Biden’s eight-year tenure as Vice President of the United States and continues today as the elder Biden occupies the Oval Office.
In the last edition of Wisconsin Christian News, I detailed how I came to possess a complete copy of the infamous Hunter Biden hard drive, containing a cache of 103,199 text messages, 154,000 emails, more than 2,000 photos, and video files. His laptop contains significant evidence of apparent criminal activity by him and his associates, including drug trafficking, prostitution, recorded sexual encounters with prostitutes, inter-family accusations of sexual abuse of minors (including Hunter Biden’s underage niece), and other scenes of depravity.
Also included on the hard drive is one instance where Hunter Biden somehow fell under protection by a United States Secret Service agent in 2018, despite not being eligible for such protection, while engaged in an extended drug and prostitution binge in Hollywood.
As horrific as all of that is, perhaps the most crucial information of national consequence is contained within business documents that have been resolved to text and emails that involve or reference Joseph Biden.
Despite the evidence of criminal activity contained in the hard drive, the FBI seems to have little to no interest in investigating anything related to the Biden family. Worse, when the FBI agents picked up the abandoned hardware from the owner of the computer shop, the owner said he was in fear for his life because of its contents. One agent reportedly told the man that in his experience, “people who keep their mouths shut have nothing to worry about.” According to the store owner (as related to investigative journalist Jack Maxey), that advisory seemed to be more of a threat than friendly advice.[i]
Evidence extracted from the hard drive indicates that Hunter Biden was given “golden” jobs and special deals with Burisma and the Communist Chinese Party while Joseph Biden was Vice President of the United States. Sans experience, Hunter Biden was given key positions in multi-national corporations that provided unfettered access to the executive branch of the United States, through then vice president Biden, to Obama and the U.S. Secretary of State. Evidence also indicates a multi-national “pay-to-play” scheme and racketeering that directly involved Joseph Biden and his family. The evidence in multiple files suggests that Hunter Biden and his family are involved in an extensive financial network that connects them to foreign nationals and foreign governments across the globe. Such deals are not merely personally profitable for the Biden family; they could be considered detrimental to U.S. security interests and resources. All of these activities occurred under the noses of the U.S. intelligence community, the U.S. Homeland Security and Finance committees, and (Obama/Clinton) State Department oversight.
It is vital that the American public understands the timeline pertaining to the Biden family’s activities with foreign entities, the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI’s knowledge of the Biden laptop, and the timing of the first impeachment of President Donald Trump, which began on December 18, 2019. Most importantly, the FBI and DoJ had possession of the Biden laptop and knowledge of its contents prior to the start of impeachment proceedings launched against President Trump for abuse of power. Meanwhile, authenticated abuse of power by Joseph Biden, in his capacity as vice-president under Barack Hussein Obama, existed on the hard drive with no apparent investigation by the very same people who were involved in the impeachment process, yet having no such evidence against President Trump. Notably, questions about President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, for example, were at the center of his impeachment.
While the U.S. media, in tandem with the U.S. intelligence community, “chummed the waters” with unfounded accusations of wrongdoing by President Trump, evidence of Hunter Biden’s business ties with Communist China’s Xi Jinping, laptop documents linked the Bidens to possible Chinese espionage and illegal Beijing-backed business arrangements.
Hints of improprieties by the Biden family and their associates began to be published in late 2020. An October 15, 2020 New York Post article titled, Emails reveal how Hunter Biden tried to cash in big on behalf of family with Chinese firm,[ii]detailed significant information about Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China. One email thread, in particular, appears to detail an equity distribution arrangement between members of the Biden family and other associates, where “20 will go to H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” The following graphic was published by the New York Post in that report and accurately represents the email thread found by this investigator on the Biden hard drive:
It is interesting to note that a review of Joe Biden’s tax records performed by this investigator shows no income received by (or through) any Chinese companies.
Also ignored were Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine, where Hunter received up to $50,000 per month to serve on the board of Ukrainian-based energy company Burisma, even though he had no experience in the energy industry. The documents found on the hard drive confirm Hunter’s involvement on Burisma’s board, which overlapped Joseph Biden’s tenure as vice president and position as Obama’s point man for U.S. foreign policy with Ukraine.
It was during this time when Vice President Joe Biden, acting on behalf of the U.S. as the head of Ukrainian foreign policy and anti-corruption efforts, pressured Ukraine to oust prosecutor Viktor Shokin, whose office had investigated Burisma for corruption. As U.S. Vice President as Obama’s “point man,” Biden threatened to withhold a $1 billion U.S. loan guarantee during a December 2015 trip to Kiev unless Shokin was fired. Ukraine prosecutor Shokin was indeed fired later that day and the U.S. loan guarantee was ultimately released.
Despite all of this unhidden intimidation and graft, and in the run-up to the 2020 elections and under the specter and stain of impeachment, President Trump campaigned and engaged in one presidential debate with then-candidate Biden. By this time, news of the Biden laptop and foreign business involvements were being censored by all social media platforms or denoted as “Russian disinformation.” The debate moderator never asked Biden anything about his alleged involvement with foreign entities, despite ample evidence from the hard drive and external witnesses, including former business associates of the Biden family. Instead, it was President Trump himself who confronted candidate Biden during that debate, asking Biden directly if he made any money from a business scheme with China.
Biden responded, “I have not taken a penny from any foreign source at any point in my life.” During that exchange, candidate Biden also defended his son, Hunter, adding that “nothing was unethical.” President Trump nonetheless pressed Biden: “You mean the laptop is now another Russia … Russia hoax?” Not only was the question ignored, but the U.S. intelligence community and the corporate media also began their rigorous campaign of censorship and deliberate disinformation favoring Biden while doubling down against President Trump.
There is much more detail about the intricate business dealings involving many of the Biden family members in the documents held by the hard drive. Despite the hundreds of pages of texts and emails that document the selling of access and favorable business arrangements with foreign governments, including those adversarial to the U.S., the FBI, Department of Justice, and nearly all government members have turned a blind eye to this evidence.
Additionally, selling access to U.S. officials was and is a “lucrative arrangement” for the financially insatiable Hunter Biden, son of the former VP and now the occupant of the Oval Office. The cost of “introductions?” Ten million per year, as show in this email excerpted from a longer thread
Instead, FBI officials conducted a 6:00 a.m. raid on Friday, April 30, 2021, of Rudy Giuliani’s residence, President Trump’s lawyer. FBI agents collected numerous computer devices, ostensibly searching for violations of FARA (the Foreign Agents Registration Act). Ironically, Biden’s actions would fall under the purview of such an investigation. Equally ironic is that the only piece of hardware left by the agents was the Hunter Biden hard drive.
Such is the state of the INjustice system in America.

On Special Report with Bret Baier on Thursday evening at 6 PM ET, House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) were interviewed by Bret Baier about their reaction to the Inspector General’s report on the FBI that was finally released earlier on Thursday. Shortly after the broadcast ended, Fox News provided a transcript of the segment.
The video of the Gowdy – Goodlatte – Baier interview can be watched here.
BRET BAIER, FOX NEWS HOST: Let’s get reaction now from the chairmen of two major House committees looking into all of this. Trey Gowdy is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and Bob Goodlatte chairs the House Judiciary Committee.
Gentlemen, thanks for being here.
Chairman Gowdy, first to you. Just of broad overview, what strikes you about this report? What hits you when you look at the 568 pages?
REP. TREY GOWDY (R-SC), CHAIRMAN, HOUSE OVERSIGHT AND GOVERNMENT REFORM COMMITTEE: Just what a dark day it is for the FBI and the DOJ, two institutions of our country desperately needs and we desperately have to be able to have confidence in them. And this level of bias and animus, not only did they want to stop the Trump campaign, he wanted to stop the Trump presidency. This is an FBI —
BAIER: You’re talking about Peter Strzok.
GOWDY: Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who was on Hillary Clinton’s investigation and arguably the lead Russia investigator not only wanted to stop his campaign, but once he wanted, got on the Mueller probe because he wanted to impeach him. That is a level of animus and bias that everyone should reject.
And, Chris Wray, I’m sorry, you’re wrong. Chris, there are consequences. The consequences are that your fellow citizens question whether or not they can have confidence in the world’s premier law enforcement agency and that’s coming from someone who has defended them a lot throughout his career. This was a bitterly disappointing report.
BAIER: Chairman Goodlatte?
REP. BOB GOODLATTE (R-VA), CHAIRMAN, HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE: Well, first of all, this report shows that there was special treatment given to Hillary Clinton in the investigation of her case. There is not a standard procedures followed in investigating her, and there was special treatment given. There is no doubt that this was not a proper process and the report shows time and time again how Director Comey and others made mistakes, errors in judgment, or deliberate. People can draw their own conclusions. But it was on improperly handled.
And as Trey said, you then put that up against how the investigation has been handled into the so-called Trump-Russia collusion, and you have contrast that is shocking in terms of how they handled one presidential campaign compared to another. It’s got to be investigated further, changes have to be made. I will compliment Director Wray on some of the personnel changes that have been made, I will compliment him on say that there are some sobering lessons learned from this. We need to see changes made so that in 2020, we don’t see another presidential campaign handled like this.
BAIER: So, when you hear Republicans and people that have been looking into this and say, this 568 pages is — there is just not a lot they are, or that Horowitz left something on the table, how do you respond to that?
GOODLATTE: This is a very thorough investigation. He takes minutia and examines each piece carefully, draws his conclusions, and I commend him. I think it’s a well-done report.
Now, I never expected him to find every single thing as some critics have said, but he did find all kinds of irregularities there. When you couple that with the Strzok page text, including this new one that has come out recently where part of it was redacted, by the way, and we only recently learned the whole sentence about how —
BAIER: The second part —
GOODBLATTE: — he was going to stop Donald Trump from being president of the United States. That is improper for the FBI. And quite frankly, this is the world’s premier law enforcement organization and it’s besmirching the reputation of tens of thousands of brave men and women who keep us safe, prevent terrorist attacks and fight crime every single day. And a handful of people in the hierarchy of the organizations have caused serious damage.
BAIER: All right. Let’s put up the August 8th, 2016, that is the one where Page says Trump is never going to be president, right? Right? And Strzok texts back, that part was redacted in the documents you received. No, no, he’s not. We’ll stop it.
Here’s another part that we believe. November 22nd, 2016, FBI attorney one, isn’t making rethink your commitment to the Trump administration? I think that’s Lisa Page. Attorney two, hell no, viva le resistance. And we believe that’s Peter Strzok.
Let me play this sound bite, Congressman Gowdy, from Jim Comey, in his interview here in SPECIAL REPORT. I asked about the Strzok-Page texts, and if he knew now what he knew then, what he would do.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
JAMES COMEY, FORMER FBI DIRECTOR: I’d have removed both of them from any contact with significant investigations —
BAIER: So, shouldn’t their work —
COMEY: — including, including those involving anybody connected to President Trump, but beyond that. It’s such poor judgment.
BAIER: So, shouldn’t their work product then be questioned?
COMEY: Sure, it’s a reasonable to ask. They were bad-mouthing everybody, including candidate Trump.
BAIER: So, Peter Strzok interviews Hillary Clinton, deals with the Bleach Bit and of the server, and Cheryl Mills, all of that, interviews Michael Flynn and he’s integral in this whole case.
COMEY: But he’s one of many other people involved in all the things you just ticked off. When I saw the text, I was deeply disappointed in them, but I never saw any bias.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
BAIER: Any bias.
GOWDY: Well, he’s not reading the same texts I’m reading. I mean, Peter Strzok said that the vote should be 100 million to zero. He can’t think of a single solitary American that should vote for Donald Trump to be president. He said he’ll stop it as a candidate. He talked about impeachment once he won.
Actually, Director Comey unwittingly just prove the point of the question you asked him on follow-up. Would you have kept him on investigation had you known what you know now? And he said no. OK, why not?
Because bias is that insidious, that is that pervasive. It colors your ability to do what we need the FBI to do, which is to be fair and fact-centric. So, of course, you’re going to fire him the day you learn.
In my head, I go back. When did you start working on the case? That’s when you should have been fired.
So, whatever he did on either of these investigations, Bret, it has to be viewed through the prism that he can’t think of a single solitary person that should vote for this man to be president.
BAIER: So, Strzok’s attorney says this was taken out of context. It didn’t affect his decisions. Some people say, what happens in the context of those texts, did they know something about the Russia information, and that’s what they are referring to? Do you think that this changes at all in context, or in a vacuum, it’s just damning?
GOWDY: It changes a lot going forward, because I don’t know how my fellow citizens are going to be able to have confidence — I mean, Russia did something to our country in 2016. It was serious, it deserved to be investigated and it deserved to be investigated by a fair FBI agent who was not talking about impeaching the person that he was investigating.
His lawyer is just wrong, that by a state impact something. He was so hyper-focused on Trump that he ignored at the Weiner-Abedin emails and it caused Jim Comey to have to send a letter a month later than he should have sent it.
The other point, Bret, is this: why is it our job to prove that Strzok’s is biased in his decision-making? I got a better idea, Strzok, you come before Congress, you come before the American public and prove to us that your manifest animus towards Donald Trump did not affect your decision.
BAIER: Let me ask one more question. Hold on one second. OK, go ahead.
GOODLATTE: But Trey said — because Trey is exactly right, we have been requesting that he be produced as a witness for quite some time. And if that agreement is not reached, we will shortly issue a subpoena for him to appear.
BAIER: Speaking of that, there are also documents that you want that you still haven’t received. I mean, this process is going on —
GOODLATTE: We have set up a better process. We’re making progress. We actually have a room down at the Department of Justice where they are producing tens of thousands of documents and are investigators are producing those, identifying the ones that we want produced. They are producing them.
So, we’re making progress in that regard, but we also have other documents they have not produced and that we are making progress on that. We have meetings coming up shortly on how to get those additional documents requested, produced. It’s — the American people have a right to know. The Congress is their representatives, these documents have to be produced. There is no reason not to produce them.
BAIER: Chairman Gowdy, the last time you talked about the FBI inner workings, it was about this allegation of spygate and all of that. You said at the time, that you thought that the president and others thought the FBI was doing what he was supposed to be doing. In the context of this, and you are animated about what you’re learning out of this I.G. report.
Does it change your perspective of how this is all progress even when it comes to the Russia investigation?
GOWDY: Bret, I’m animated because Russia tried to undermine the fundamentals of our democracy in 2016. And I think anyone who heard what any law enforcement agency heard in summer of 2016, every one of my fellow citizens would say, you go find out whether that’s true or not. You go find out whether or not a foreign, hostile country is going to mess with our election.
What my fellow citizens also expect is for the agent that does the follow-up to be free of taint and bias, like 99 percent of the FBI agents are. It just so happens that the one picked to follow up and lead the Russian investigation has manifest animus and can think of a single person to vote for Donald Trump. So, those two are inextricably intertwined.
Most of my fellow citizens would say, yes, I want to know what Russia was doing to us in 2016, but also want the person that’s finding out, is investigating it to be free of bias and free of taint.
BAIER: And they would say, Mueller, fire that guy.
GOWDY: And he did fire him. And God only knows what damage he was done before Mueller fired him. This is what’s so pervasive about bias, Bret, it doesn’t matter what Mueller comes up with. Some people are going to believe that Strzok’s level of animus was so high that you can’t remove the taint. That’s why bias is so destructive in a justice system.
BAIER: Chairman Goodlatte, this is what I hear, on email, on Twitter, on Facebook, they hear us reporting on these 568 pages and they have been waiting for months and months. And they hear what is coming out of it, who is going to pay for something that was done wrong in their mind. And investigation after investigation, it seems like it comes to a head and then nothing happens.
GOODLATTE: Absolutely. Hundreds of classified emails, or handled improperly in violation of the law, and no one has been held accountable in that regard. Now, we see that the whole process of that investigation was handled with extreme bias and a whole host of questionable actions, and people need to be held accountable. Some of those people are no longer employed at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice, that’s a good thing.
But we’re going to continue to follow through until we’re sure that changes have been made so that these things can’t occur in the future and we don’t have a 2020 that looks anything at all like 2016 in terms of this kind of mishandling of investigations of the highest level of importance, when you’re talking about the two candidates for president of the United States.
So, Trey and I are going to have a joint hearing next Tuesday where we’ll have the inspector general and we’ll be able to go into this 560-page report and ask manifold questions. The following week, we have already requested the deputy attorney general of the United States, Mr. Rosenstein, and the FBI Director Christopher Wray to come forward and talk to us and answer our questions based upon that report.
BAIER: All right. Other quick nuggets here, in this I.G. report, it says definitively that Hillary Clinton’s emails were hacked by foreign actors of some kind.
GOWDY: Let me tell you why that’s important, because when —
BAIER: Despite all the denials. I mean, we went through all of the stages that it wasn’t happening.
GOWDY: Well, we got a little window into that when Jim Comey — one of Jim Comey’s original memo drafts had that language in there and it was edited out. Let me tell you why it’s important. There are two reasons they cite for not prosecuting Hillary Clinton. Number one, that she didn’t have specific general intent, and number two, she didn’t expose it to foreign actors.
We now know one of those reasons is bogus. And had they done a good job of interviewing her, had they not made up their mind six weeks before they went to interview her, perhaps I could have found evidence of an intent to commit a crime.
But they didn’t look for it. They made up their mind before they ever interviewed her about, but — that is really important that Horowitz, and others, some of our colleagues that unlocked the fact that those emails were exposed to foreign actors.
BAIER: Most of the rank-and-file FBI agents thought, if I did this, I’d be prosecuted. That’s in the I.G. report.
GOODLATTE: Absolutely. And we found other precedents where people were prosecuted for similar actions, contrary to what the FBI director concluded.
BAIER: The Weiner investigation case was slow-walked?
GOWDY: No question, because Peter Strzok was so obsessed with Donald Trump in the fall of 2016, they sat on emails, and by the time Comey got to ‘em and sent the letter, we were on the eve of an election. But in September when they learned about this, he did nothing because he was hyper-focused on Trump.
GOODLATTE: And if I were a Democrat or an independent or any American, I’d be concerned about how Director Comey handled that aspect of it, which is also criticized by the inspector general. Why would you handle the way you release that information?
BAIER: Let me play that sound bite.
GOODLATTE: Days before —
BAIER: Let me play that.
GOODLATTE: — the election.
BAIER: This is SOT 1 from Jim Comey.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
BAIER: Weeks went by without any action.
COMEY: I do know that New York and FBI headquarters became aware that there may be a connection between Weiner’s laptop and the Clinton investigation, weeks before it was brought to me for decision. I don’t know whether they could have moved faster, and why the delay.
BAIER: So, was it the threat that the New York agents were going to leak that it existed really what drove you to the not concealed part?
COMEY: I don’t know why there was — if there was a slow activity, why it was slow for those first couple of weeks.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
BAIER: There was at least one agent who says that he knows that they wouldn’t be prosecuted anyway.
GOWDY: Well, I — a couple of points on what Director Comey said. He used the word “index”, he didn’t properly index the fact that Huma Abedin was married to Anthony Weiner. He may have be the only person in the western hemisphere that did not know they were married. That’s one of his excuses.
It took a prosecutor or an agent from the Southern District of New York called into Washington specifically saying, what in the hell are you doing and what is taking so long? That’s what finally got him to move. McCabe wasn’t moving and Strzok wasn’t moving.
BAIER: Some of Strzok and Page’s text messages may still be missing. I.G. says that.
GOODLATTE: We’ll keep looking for them. He’s actually done a good job. He’s the one who found the first big batch of missing text messages, and made those available back to the department, which made them available to us.
But yes, I think we have actually benefited in a multitude of ways from this investigation. It’s filled and a piece of the puzzle but it also resulted in more information coming to us just in the last few days and weeks when you think about that.
BAIER: All right, wrap this up. Winner and loser in this I.G. report in your mind?
GOODLATTE: Well, unfortunately, I think that Trey is right, that the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a whole is a loser and I hope that Christopher Wray is taking his sobering lesson to heart that he can do great things to restore the public’s trust in this very important organization, which we all should trust. And I think 99 percent of the time, we should. Absolutely.
GOWDY: The winner is Michael Horowitz, because he proves that you can be fair, fact-centric and conduct a series of investigation. The loser is every one of my fellow citizens who wants an FBI and a Department of Justice that they can believe in. All of us have all lost when we have a department and a bureau that we cannot have confidence in.
BAIER: Chairman Gowdy, Chairman Goodlatte, we appreciate your time and will continue to follow-up.
GOWDY: Thanks.
GOODLATTE: Thanks, Bret.
BAIER: Thank you.
